This is very close to what I heard/felt everytime we visited the grandparents in Runcorn.
Ominous dread. Bleak dystopia. Concrete and terraced houses. Plus the air smells! MonkeyMajiks
The fifth in a series of (consistently excellent!) KL releases, Volume Five works as a curated peek into the catalogue of fantastical musician Martin Zeichnete, but also as a Capital-"A" Album. Side one's irresistible energy blends seamlessly into side two's sense of mystery and wonder. Charge up and DO THE THING!!! whatever that thing might be, then kick back with whatever recreational aid you favor and ponder your universe. Intorikata
While I'm a huge fan of electronic music, I love when these projects also introduce a narrative aspect. The unfolding history of Martin's musical journey adds such a wonderful dimension while listening to these albums. Not to mention the great visuals, too.
